The Tarot is divided into two parts. First is the Minor Archana, which is made up of the experiences we go through in order to reach the Major Archana, which are states of understanding.
The Major Archana are infinite in their range and are covered in many books, such as “The Angles Within Us” written by John Randolph Price.
I can shed perhaps only a little light on the totality of these states of understanding, understanding which must come from the internal being, to be fully understood. To sit at fullness in the consciousness of man and woman when they take the time to see themselves and their spiritual selves, and discover their oneness with the universe.
Before starting with the individual cards, I want to say a few things that I feel are important. First you must learn to develop a rapport, a respect, for your cards, like a good friend. They are going to be your teacher, and a way in which your spiritual teachers will be able to reach you and help you to make choices.
‘I personally feel these are images created by past holder’s of great wisdom and they knew a time was coming when their physical world would be disappearing, and wanted to preserve their wisdom in images that could be spiritually taped into through simply seeing our images of reflective truth.’
Meditation also is an important factor in becoming a reader or a seer of our wisdom from the ancients. The channel between you and your higher self, or our intuitive self, or angel selves, whichever way you care to refer to that part of self that hold you in the greater wisdom of life, and love, it’s that part of us that connects with Spirit/God. This is the part of us which allows the process of revelation to take place, and your readings are of course much better if we are clear. Revelation is what we’re seeking.
The meanings I will be giving are short and simple and are not all these cards hold. I give only the keys which can open a clear channel for direct revelation.
Trust, is the next step. You must learn to trust your impressions. Reading is a good way to learn to trust ourselves and our connection with spirit and the teachings held in the ethers of time.
And last, but not least, is the reality of intent. If you use your cards and the teachings they hold with good intentions, to do good or be of services in the growth of yourself and or other, the cards will become magical for you. If however, you misuse these cards in order to impress, or gain power over, or control, another person, the cards will surely cease being your friend and your lessons may become difficult. So use them for what they are intended: to help, to keep things clear, and to help show us the way to a full and complete life through all the changes which face us in a lifetime.
